The VDHA now has a Global Chat that can be done from any web provider. James Black, 37th IPSD and VDHA Member put this together but you need to read the following instructions from James to make it work.

One way:

Go to Yahoo home page. http://www.yahoo.com/ On the menu bar near the to where it says "shopping" "Auctions" "Yellow Pages" keep reading until you come to "Clubs". Click on it.

If you are not currently a member of Yahoo's mail and other benefits,
look at the left-hand bar and click "Sign me up". It's free and it's
safe! I've been using Yahoo mail for years without a problem.
Suggestion: Pick an "ID" that reflects your military service or your
dog, or the place you served in 'Nam.

Once you have finished entering the info and submitting it, you will be
directed to view and select from all the Yahoo clubs. Forget all that!

OK! You're in! When you submit your very first message, Yahoo may ask
you to check your email for a one-time security code (just to make sure
it's really you) but after that, you're good to go for life.
